Crime statistics of Oregon County

The annual crime rate of Oregon County increased by nearly 55% in 2019. The local police received 77 complaints in 2018, while they registered 120 criminal cases in 2019. Property crimes led to the filing of 91 complaints, and 29 cases were filed against violent crimes.

Of the reported property crimes, 33 were larceny thefts, 43 were burglaries, and 15 were motor vehicle thefts. Of the reported violent crimes, 26 were aggravated assaults, and 3 were rapes.
